The Continuing “Shrinking Frame”

Well, it’s been a little over six months, and the weight is still slipping off. I should have done this years ago. I’m now down almost 53 pounds, and intend on being under 200 by the time I visit my parents in the fall. They’ll be shocked.

Lorri is thrilled that she can reach her hands behind my back when hugging me. People at work are commenting every day. The title of this post came from someone who works on a different floor than I. I saw her in the elevator, and she said she heard about my “shrinking frame”. I never heard that one before. And people are talking? I hardly even know her.

If I can do this, I should be able to do anything. It feels a hell of a lot better. I’m hardly ever hungry anymore, and if I miss a day of working out, I feel like I forgot something. It’s already a habit.

The next step is to start working on the loose skin that has been stretched out due to the excess weight for so long. So with some tips from the trainers at my fitness center, I started working on tightening those abs. I was also told I should change my weight training to work on toning, so I made some adjustments to the circuit settings for that.

In the fall, I will start tennis lessons again (I last tried over 10 years ago). Time to become more active in everything.
